Quietude in Therapeutic Crafting

Quilting is more than just a hobby or a post-apocalyptic life skill — it's a form of therapy. It calms my mind after a long day and provides a creative outlet for self-expression, allowing me to weave my thoughts and emotions into each stitch. Check out my Gallery to see all of my past forms of self-expression and creative outlets!

Captain Caleb Kuehne

It was a profound honor to craft a Quilt of Valor for my friend and former colleague, Captain Caleb Kuehne. In his distinguished role as a Mortuary Affairs Officer for the United States Air Force, Captain Kuehne devotedly ensured the dignified return of fallen soldiers and compassionately supported their families during their time of grief. This true American hero, now residing in the remote beauty of Alaska, cherishes the warmth his quilt provides—a small token of my immense gratitude for his service.
