About Me

Quilting for a Decade

Approximately a decade ago, I embarked on the art of quilting as a manifestation of self-sufficiency. Serving as a Military Training Instructor (MTI), I accumulated an extensive collection of flight shirts, each uniquely significant, which I envisioned transforming into a quilt. Due to the irreplaceable nature of these garments, I resolved to undertake the quilting process personally. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this decision would catalyze my journey into embracing quilting not merely as a craft, but as a cherished avocation. I soon unearthed its profound therapeutic benefits, which offered a means to alleviate stress and restore inner balance. This exhibition showcases a selection of my creations over the years, reflecting the evolution of my craft and the personal fulfillment it has afforded me.
